We handle every order with care. This page explains how LoadOff Laundry Service cares for garments, what customers should know before pickup, and how we review damaged or missing item concerns.
Before Your Pickup
Check pockets
Please remove keys, cards, money, electronics, cosmetics, pens, and other personal items before pickup.
Keep special-care items out
Dry-clean-only, hand-wash-only, designer, vintage, sentimental, or delicate items should not go in standard wash-and-fold unless approved in writing.
Report issues quickly
Missing or damaged item concerns should be reported within 24 hours of delivery with order details and photos when available.
Unattended delivery has risk
If laundry is left outside or in a shared location at the customer’s request, weather, theft, tampering, and access issues are outside LoadOff’s control
Policy Sections
1. Our Service Promise
LoadOff Laundry Service is committed to handling customer laundry with professionalism, care, and reasonable attention throughout the pickup, washing, drying, folding, and delivery process. We aim to provide a clean, convenient, and dependable service experience for every customer.

Although we make every reasonable effort to care for your items properly, laundry service naturally involves certain risks. Clothing and household items may react differently to washing, drying, detergents, heat, agitation, or normal handling depending on fabric type, age, construction, dyes, previous wear, manufacturer quality, and care-label instructions.
Our policy is designed to create clear expectations, protect customers, and help us resolve concerns fairly and professionally.
2. Standard Laundry Service Scope
Unless otherwise stated in writing, LoadOff Laundry Service provides standard wash, dry, and fold laundry service. Standard service may include sorting, washing, drying, folding, packaging, pickup, and delivery according to the service selected by the customer.

Standard laundry service is intended for everyday washable clothing, towels, sheets, and similar household laundry items. It is not intended for items that require dry cleaning, hand washing, special stain treatment, air drying only, professional garment restoration, tailoring, delicate preservation, or specialized textile care unless LoadOff Laundry Service specifically agrees to provide that service in writing.

Customers are responsible for identifying any items that require special handling before pickup. If an item requires special care and is included in a standard laundry order without written notice, LoadOff Laundry Service may process it as part of a standard wash-and-fold order and may not be responsible for damage caused by the item’s special-care requirements.
3. Customer Responsibilities Before Pickup
To help us provide the best service possible, customers are responsible for preparing laundry before pickup. Please check all pockets, remove valuables, separate items that should not be washed, and notify LoadOff Laundry Service of any special concerns before your order is collected.

Customers should not include money, jewelry, electronics, keys, wallets, documents, medications, cosmetics, pens, sharp objects, fragile items, or any personal property that is not intended to be laundered. LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for items left in pockets or mixed into laundry bags.

Customers are also responsible for identifying garments with special care requirements, including but not limited to items labeled “dry clean only,” “hand wash only,” “lay flat to dry,” “air dry only,” “do not tumble dry,” “wash separately,” or similar instructions.
4. Garment Care Labels & Manufacturer Instructions
LoadOff Laundry Service relies on garment care labels when available and when reasonably visible during processing. However, some garments may have missing, inaccurate, faded, unreadable, or misleading care labels. In some cases, a garment may still shrink, fade, bleed dye, lose shape, or become damaged even when care instructions appear to be followed.

LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for damage caused by missing care labels, incorrect manufacturer labels, pre-existing fabric weakness, improper prior laundering, poor garment construction, defective dyes, or materials that are not suitable for standard washing and drying.
5. Items That May Carry Higher Risk
Certain items carry a higher risk during normal laundry processing. These items may be more likely to shrink, fade, tear, bleed dye, lose shape, fray, pill, crack, melt, or otherwise change during washing or drying.
Examples
Delicate fabrics, wool, silk, cashmere, leather, suede, rayon, linen blends, embellished clothing, sequins, beads, lace, screen-printed graphics, vintage garments, formalwear, designer items, heavily worn items, and items with loose buttons or weak seams
Recommendation
Customers should not include high-value, sentimental, delicate, designer, vintage, heirloom, irreplaceable, or specialty-care items in a standard laundry order unless LoadOff specifically agrees in writing to handle those items.
6. Stains, Odors, and Pre-Existing Conditions
LoadOff Laundry Service will make reasonable efforts to clean items included in a standard laundry order. However, we do not guarantee complete removal of stains, odors, discoloration, mildew, grease, ink, dye transfer, chemical stains, old stains, heat-set stains, or stains that have been previously treated.

Some stains or odors may become more visible after washing, and some fabrics may reveal pre-existing damage after normal cleaning. LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, fabric weakness, hidden defects, discoloration, or damage that becomes apparent during or after normal laundering.
7. Shrinkage, Fading, Dye Bleeding, and Color Transfer
Some garments may shrink, fade, or bleed dye during normal washing or drying due to fabric type, dye quality, previous laundering history, age, manufacturer defects, or incorrect care labels. While we aim to process laundry responsibly, LoadOff Laundry Service cannot guarantee that every garment will maintain its original size, color, shape, or texture.

Customers are responsible for separating or identifying items that may bleed, fade, require cold wash only, require air drying, or require special care. LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for shrinkage, fading, dye bleeding, color transfer, or texture changes caused by garment characteristics, fabric composition, manufacturer defects, previous care, or missing/inaccurate care instructions.
8–10. Loose Items, Pockets, and Restricted Items
Buttons, zippers, snaps, drawstrings, elastic, glued decorations, prints, rhinestones, beads, sequins, lace, decals, and other embellishments may loosen, break, crack, detach, or deteriorate during normal washing or drying, especially if they were already worn, weakened, poorly attached, or not suitable for machine processing.

Customers must check all pockets and laundry bags before pickup. LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for loss, damage, or contamination caused by items left in pockets or mixed into laundry, including but not limited to pens, markers, lipstick, gum, crayons, food, coins, keys, electronics, headphones, jewelry, cash, cards, documents, medication, or personal items.
Please do not include hazardous materials, chemicals, flammable substances, items contaminated with bodily fluids, items contaminated with excessive pet waste, items containing sharp objects, heavily soiled industrial items, items with pests, mold-heavy items, or any item that could create a safety, sanitation, or equipment risk.
11. Pickup and Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that laundry is available at the scheduled pickup location and that someone is available or that clear pickup instructions have been provided. Customers are also responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is safe, accessible, and appropriate for leaving completed laundry.

If a customer requests unattended pickup or unattended delivery, the customer accepts responsibility for the laundry before pickup and after delivery. LoadOff Laundry Service is not responsible for theft, weather exposure, tampering, animals, building access issues, incorrect addresses, or other risks that occur before pickup or after delivery when laundry is left unattended at the customer’s request.
12–13. Missing or Damaged Item Concerns
LoadOff Laundry Service takes missing item concerns seriously. If you believe an item is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your name, order date, pickup/delivery address, a description of the item, and any photos or documentation that may help us investigate.

Missing item concerns and damaged item concerns should be reported within 24 hours of delivery so that we can review the order promptly. Damage concerns should include order details, a clear description of the issue, and photos of the affected item. We may request to inspect the item before determining whether the damage occurred during our service.

If we determine that an item was lost or damaged due to our handling, we may offer a fair resolution, which may include a service credit, refund, reimbursement, repair contribution, or another remedy at our discretion and subject to the limitations in this policy.
14. Claim Review and Resolution Process
To report an issue, customers should contact LoadOff Laundry Service with the following information. We may require inspection of the item before offering a resolution, and customers should not repair, discard, alter, rewash, or continue using the item before we have had a reasonable opportunity to review it.

If LoadOff Laundry Service determines that an item was damaged or lost due to our handling, the maximum remedy may be limited to the lesser of the item’s current depreciated value, a reasonable service credit, a refund of the affected portion of the order, or another remedy determined by LoadOff Laundry Service.

LoadOff Laundry Service does not accept responsibility for sentimental value, special value, designer value, collector value, replacement cost above depreciated value, loss of use, inconvenience, indirect damages, consequential damages, or items that were not appropriate for standard laundry service.

If a customer is dissatisfied with service quality, LoadOff Laundry Service may, at its discretion, offer a redo, service credit, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable resolution. The available remedy depends on the nature of the issue, the customer’s order history, the condition of the items, and whether the concern was reported within the required timeframe.

LoadOff Laundry Service makes reasonable efforts to complete pickup and delivery within the scheduled or estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, staffing, equipment issues, high order volume, customer access issues, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, pickup and delivery instructions, and any special requests before service begins. Special requests are not guaranteed unless they are accepted by LoadOff Laundry Service in writing before processing.
19. Policy Acceptance
By placing an order, scheduling pickup, submitting laundry, or using LoadOff Laundry Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Laundry Care & Liability Policy.
